The Wine Route

The “Südtiroler Weinstraße” wine route is the best known wine producing area in South Tirol. Starting in Nals throughout upper and lower Adige up to Salurn, passing valleys and hills with impressing vineyards. Up to 65 % of the grape harvest is red wine like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, blue burgundy or Rose-Muscateller.

The other 35 % are white wine like Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Riesling, Silvaner or Gold-Muscateller.
